Facial wrinkles commonly form when we make simple expressions, such as squinting or furrowing your eyebrows. When injected, Jeuveau softens these wrinkles and fine lines by inhibiting the contractions of certain facial muscles. Jeuveau treatments are very tolerable. Most patients report little to no discomfort felt during the injections. No anesthesia is required for the treatment but upon request, a local topical anesthetic can be applied to the skin to help reduce any potential discomfort.
Jeuveau injections can be done in about 15 – 20 minutes, making it easy for you to receive treatment and then allowing you to return to your daily routine right away.
The area to be treated is first examined by one of our expert injectors to determine the proper injection site(s). During this time, we will ask you to move certain facial muscles so that we can identify the best sites for injection. Then, our injection specialist will administer tiny injections of Jeuveau. Depending on the extent of treatment, multiple injections may be required. The treatment is fairly simple with no down time.
