The North Scottsdale Outpatient Surgery Center is a modern, state-of-the-art facility conveniently located on the first floor of our building providing a comfortable private outpatient surgery option. The highly trained staff will work with you before, during and after surgery to help you feel as comfortable as possible.

The operating suite is fully equipped, offering general anesthesia and advanced instruments and monitoring devices for patient safety during surgery and recovery. All anesthesia services at The North Scottsdale Outpatient Surgery Center are performed only by board-certified anesthesiologists. All of the professional staff members are certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).

It is important to know that The North Scottsdale Outpatient Surgery Center is a fully AAAASF-accredited Ambulatory Surgical Facility. The AAAASF conducts rigorous inspections and evaluations to be considered for their accreditation program. The program is conducted by physicians and surgeons, with standards determined by a Board of Directors. Accreditation by the AAAASF verifies that our facility meets nationally recognized safety standards and quality of care for patients. The AAAASF maintains the highest standards of excellence for the facilities it certifies and regularly updates its requirements for safety and quality of care. Piper Outpatient Surgery provides personalized high quality care for patients undergoing a surgical procedure. Patients receive comprehensive nursing care from the time of their admission until they are safely discharged from the facility.

In addition, Piper offers a uniquely quiet nursing care unit that offers a restful, healing environment for patients needing to stay an extra 1 to 2 days, and allows for one adult family member to stay overnight with the patient.

The Surgery Center is located on the Shea Campus of Scottsdale Honor Healthcare; a second floor bridge provides immediate access to all hospital departments and services offered.
