Lawrence W. Shaw, M.D.

Dr. Shaw was born in Long Island, New York where he lived through High School. He did his undergraduate studies at Emory University and received his medical degree from New York Medical College in 1979. Dr. Shaw then completed a five year General Surgery residency and was board certified by the American Board of Surgery.

Dr. Shaw is a double-boarded Plastic Surgeon which required 7 years of surgical training alone. Since completing his plastic surgery residency training at the Phoenix Integrated Plastic Surgery Residency in 1986, Dr. Shaw has performed thousands of plastic surgery operations. He is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, the only board recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties to certify doctors in Plastic Surgery. Dr. Shaw has also been certified by the American Board of Surgery. He is a member of regional and national medical societies including the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) and The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.

With over 20 years performing cosmetic plastic surgery in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area, Dr. Shaw has a tremendous amount of experience to share. Dr. Shaw received the most votes in the category of Plastic Surgery and was named the 2010 "Top Doc" in Plastic Surgery in Phoenix Magazine and by the readers of Scottsdale Magazine as the "Best Plastic Surgeon in Scottsdale. He has also been selected as one of the Best 100 Plastic Surgeons in America.

Dr. Shaw now limits his practice solely to Cosmetic Plastic Surgery using the latest techniques available including endoscopic facial and breast surgery and ultrasonic and laser assisted liposuction (SmartLipo). His widespread, excellent reputation is known for his commitment to the highest standard in patient care, meticulous surgical technique and natural results. He has exceptional rapport with his patients and relates to them in a professional, honest, and ethical manner.

Dr. Shaw, resides in Scottsdale, Arizona with his wife and four children.
